In my culture, a woman is expected to take care of su hombre and la familia -- and I will someday -- but first I want to ex- press myself, and sing and dance and be my own person!  I've seen too many of my buds hanging with bad dudes & get- ting into trouble 'cause they don't have any direction, any dreams.  "You need magic to change your life," they say. I believe in magic, & the magic is ME!
